Liz and Rene are wonderful hosts, Liz with her warm Irish welcome, and René with his French charm. You will be pampered and spoilt, and made to feel at home, whilst experiencing the very heart of French life. There is nothing this charming couple won’t do for you, and their barge is spacious, and very comfortable. Liz is an excellent chef, and loves to work with the specialities of the region. René grew up in this area, so knows well the anecdotes and traditions of the local people. That combined with the wonderful wines of the region, the history and the beautiful waterways, will make for a very memorable holiday onboard the Emma.
