Sally Shaw

Sally Shaw is a musician by training. After 10 years of secondary school teaching in England, she came to France and has worked along side her husband, Peter, on their luxury hotel barge La Tortue. Working on the Canal du Midi since 1996, Sally has built up a vast knowledge of the region, including its history and traditions; its wines; places to stay; barging life; restaurants from Michelin star to traditional: and much, much more.

Sally is a composer. She sings jazz, plays the piano and guitar, and conducts an international choir in the village of Capestang. She loves to entertain people, both socially and musically, and has always gained much joy from making people happy. She now hopes that she can make you happy by finding you the most wonderful holiday in her beloved Languedoc.
